IF you have experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Proven track record in direct sales of aircraft parts and business development within airworthiness maintenance/after-sales services.
  • Strategic promotion of cost-saving PMA solutions to engineering departments of fast-growing Low-Cost Carriers.
  • Proven track record with major Indian private carriers and MROs (IndiGo, Air India Group, SpiceJet etc).
  • Established relationships with purchasing departments and decision-makers of major airlines in India.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a focus on conducting complex negotiations and closing high-value transactions.

Responsibilities:

Leadership:

  • Provide strong leadership, setting clear objectives and expectations, motivating and teaching team members to achieve sales targets.
  • Monitor the work of other colleagues (Business Development Managers) to ensure their performance aligns with company objectives and standards.
  • Develop a collaborative and high-performance team, encouraging knowledge sharing and professional development

Sales Strategy:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share within the India area.
  • Identify new business opportunities and market trends and develop strategies to capitalize on them effectively.
  • PMA Product Promotion: Drive the promotion and adoption of PMA (Parts Manufacturer Approval) products by establishing technical credibility and maintaining close engagement with the Engineering teams of major airlines.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with assigned region key clients (airlines, MRO’s and brokers) across the continent.
  • Act as the primary point of contact, ensuring a deep understanding of regional operational requirements, including the India region regulatory frameworks and business etiquette.

Team Development:

  • Provide ongoing training, coaching and support to Regional Business Development team members.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Engage closely with the HR department in the process of recruitment which include talent scouting, strategic hiring, performance monitoring, recognition programs, as well as managing incentives and penalties, facilitate transitions to freelance or retainer agreements, certification and terminating employees from the team in agreement with the company's management.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze data trends, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Compile and deliver comprehensive reports on team members' sales performance, receivables, strategic business development plans and other reports within the established deadlines and according to the set requirements.
  • Utilize CRM systems and other sales tools to track sales activities, manage leads, and forecast future sales projections.
  • Develop a plan for employee regular meetings, a plan for attending specialized events, conferences throughout India.
